St. John XXIII College Preparatory is a Catholic, co-educational, college preparatory school. We share the mission of the Catholic Church to hand down the teachings of Jesus Christ (cf. 1 Cor.11:2). We are a community whose vocation is to educate and form the mind, body, spirit, and imagination of our students.
Members of the St. John XXIII community are encouraged to develop the gifts given to them by the Holy Spirit to the best of their ability. Our students are taught to always seek the truth and develop a love for wisdom. By our word and example, students learn to imitate the merciful love of Jesus Christ in a life of service to others. A St. John XXIII graduate will be prepared to answer God’s call.
St. John XXIII accepts only 9th & 10th grade International Student Applicants; the student will usually be asked to repeat his/her current grade. If the International Student is applying from another Catholic/Private School in the United States, consideration will be given to 11th grade applicants.
Students should speak, understand, and read English; however, ESL support will be offered to all non-native English speakers. Additionally, all prospective international students must register to take the TOEFL Jr. test, TOEFL iBT, or iTEP SLATE and submit your score to St. John XXIII.
Since opening its doors in 2004, St. John XXIII College Preparatory has had a tradition of excellence in athletics. Many of our teams have earned district and regional titles, multiple sports have advanced to state over the years, and our swim team has garnered numerous state titles.
St. John XXIII’s Performing Arts program features the talents of students and faculty working together to achieve a particular vision on the stage and in music. Whether it is being a part of the school’s award-winning band or joining the ranks of the International Thespian Society, there are ample opportunities to succeed.
